Spooky Donut Holes Made SKINNY!

unknown-2

I could go on and on about how awesome silicone molds are. They make baking and clean up a breeze!

That reason alone makes cake pops one of my favorite treats to make!

They are ideal for a quick pick up and go treat for smart snacking. Your party guest will love these and so will anyone living in your household!

Not to mention, they are low calorie, low carb and packed with protein!

What you will need…

♥ 1 cup oat flour

♥ 1 scoop strawberry protein powder (add any flavor you’d like)

♥ 3/4 cup greek yogurt ( I used greek vanilla from Light & Fit)

♥ 2 tbsp egg whites

♥ 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

♥ 1/3 cup stevia

♥ 1 tsp baking powder

♥ 1/2 tsp baking soda

♥ 1/3 cup dehydrated strawberries

Combine your wet and dry ingredients separately.

Pour the wet in with the dry and mix together.

Preheat oven to 375.

Fill your silicone trays with and bake for 8-10 minutes. Remove and allow to cool before decorating!

I originally wanted to do a chocolate melt or protein frosting over top of these but ran out of time.

Regardless, they turned out great with Halloween baking accessories and decorative icing!

Here is my attempt at creating an eyeball!

I realized shortly after that I didn’t have any white icing but it still turned out better than expected!

You can decorate your donut holes however you’d like! If you don’t want to design anything specific, using festive colors like green and purple, orange and black, or red and white would be fun too!

If you don’t want to slave away baking cupcakes or bring cookies you bought at your local super market, give these simple treats a shot!

They will be gobbled up and gone before you know it!
