Nature Valley Copy Cat Honey Oat Crunch Bars

Unknown-3

These bars are a keeper! It was a new recipe I wanted to try and now I’m obsessed! I love when that happens! You can be flexible with your ingredients and add your choice of nuts, seeds, dried fruit, you name it!

OH, and peanut butter of course! 🙂

The main thing is your honey, peanut butter and coconut oil combination. That’s what keeps the bars together and allows them to bake into crunchy bites of deliciousness!

INGREDIENTS

2 cup oats

1 tbs cinnamon

1/4 cup grounded flax

1/4 cup chai seeds

1/4 cup sunflower seeds

1/4 tsp baking soda

1 tbs melted peanut butter or nut butter of choice

1/3 cup honey

2 tbs melted coconut oil

♥Mix all of your ingredients in a bowl except your honey, peanut butter and coconut oil.

♥Use your stovetop or microwave to melt your honey, peanut butter and coconut oil together.

♥ Once melted and mixed together, pour your honey mixture over your oats!

♥Make sure you incorporate until everything is evenly covered.

♥ Lightly spray a pan or brush a pan with coconut oil and press your oat ‘dough’ into a flat rectangle shape.

♥Bake at 325-350 for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

*note* If your dough is too dry, that means you need more of the honey, coconut mixture!

Remove and allow your bars to cool for a couple of minutes. Don’t wait too long or they will harden and become too tricky to cut!

If you like the nature valley crunch bars then you will LOVE these! Especially when you know exactly what was used to make them! No added sugar, high in fiber and a perfect snack to munch on!

Enjoy!
