This recipe blows Starbucks out of the water!
You can use your choice of protein powder. I used Universal Nutrition Salted Caramel.
1 scoop protein powder
1/2 cup milk (I used cashew milk)
1/2 cup frozen banana slices
2 handfuls of ice
1 cup brewed coffee
1 pump sugar free caramel syrup (or sweeter of choice, stevia etc)
1 tsp caramel extract (vanilla extract if you don’t have caramel)
Place all ingredients into blender or food processor and pulse until mixed thoroughly!
It won’t look very good at first but don’t worry!
I was feeling inspired and very barista-like, so I topped mine with low calorie whip cream! Protein shakes can get boring. If you’re a coffee lover, this is a great alternative to consume your protein while getting a little extra pick me up!
