Feed your ice-cream cravings!
This recipe takes only a couple of minutes!
Blending of the bananas will be the hardest part, but you’ll get the hang of it!
Make sure your bananas are frozen first!
I always keepfrozen bananas on hand for recipes just like this!
1 large frozen banana (sliced)
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
1 scoop of vanilla protein
1/3 cup raw almonds
Place your sliced bananas and protein into your processor and pulse repeatedly until smooth. If my banana slices are too hard I will let them sit for a couple minutes to soften.
Add your almonds and vanilla extract into the mixture and continue pulsing until completely blended.
Eat as is or freeze until you reach your desired texture!
Feel free to play around with other fruits and nut butters.
I’ve made a banana split ice-cream with chunks of fresh strawberries and a yummy peanut butter and banana flavor as well!
